Downtown Cary Wedding and a Warm Winter Night, at The Mayton

The Mayton, in Downtown Cary, NC served as the host location for a beautiful winter wedding, and this wonderful couple.

When you think of weddings held the night before New Year’s Eve, you can picture yourself wearing your Sunday best, and arriving in your heaviest winter coat. However this was 2021, and as we all know, you should prepare for the unexpected these days.

A step outside felt a bit warmer than a seat indoors, as the temperature hovered near 70 degrees.

While the weather was a surprise, the elegance and charm of The Mayton and Downtown Cary, was classic as always. The interior of the venue was decorated in splendid holiday decor, and the outside surroundings were adorned with beautiful light displays, that have welcomed many locals to stroll Academy Street, on a nightly basis.

Another one of the night’s major highlights, was the wedding cake from Once in a Blue Moon Bakery.

In case you want a flavor suggestion when ordering your cake from Once in a Blue Moon, this one was gluten free, Tiramisu, and it was absolutely delicious!
